Learning Cohort Options
All cohorts will meet on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 and we'll feed you dinner! Cohorts will meet a total of 9 times, Wednesday, Feb 5, 2025 through Wednesday April 16, 2025. (No meeting during Spring Break.) Each cohort on its own will meet for 8 learning sessions and then all three will come together for a graduation gathering on Wednesday April 16, 2025.
- JLF 1.0: Life's Big Questions is an opportunity to explore Jewish wisdom and apply it to our lives today. It is designed for people who have never participated in JLF before. Led by Rabbi Judy Greenberg.
- Kol Yisrael: Ethnic Diversity is a deep dive into the many diverse communities & cultures that exist in Israeli society. Led by Rabeen Abu Hamid, Hillel Israel Fellow.
- Shabbat Hosting Lab invites students to develop confidence and knowledge about Shabbat rituals, to design and execute a Shabbat skill set, and to become emboldened hosts capable of facilitating a table experience in their own living spaces that is informed and inspired by Jewish wisdom and tradition. Led by Zoe Levine, Hillel Senior Program Director.
A $180 scholarship may be available to students who sucessfully complete the fellowship (Elegibility may also depend on whether you've participated in JLF before. Ask a Hillel staff person for more details!)
