Time Commitment
This position will begin in late January 2025, and continue until December 2025.
Between the months of January-March, OC's are expected to work between 1-5 hours per week to attend infrequent planning meetings with the former OC's and Assistant Dean Campus Life.
Between the months of April-May, OC's are expected to work with the Assistant Dean Campus Life, interviewing student staff and planning programming, and offering virtual and in person programming.
June-August OC's are expected to be on campus 2-3 days a week to work collaboratively with co-coordinator and ADCL.
Mandatory attendance at the Senior Student Leader Retreat Camp taking place May 2025 (overnight).
During Orientation Week(s), students are expected to work around 60 hours depending on programming and scheduled events (OC's must be present for the entirety of Move-In Day and Orientation Week(s), August 24th-September 10th 2024)
Following the start of classes OC's are expected to work around 20 hours for the first two weeks of school to complete transitional programming.
Between the months of September-December, OC's are expected to work between 1-5 hours per week to complete debrief documents, plan post-orientation events, and assist in the hiring of the new Orientation Coordinators.
Orientation Coordinator Renumeration
Upon completion of the afformentioned duties, each Orientation Coordinator will receive:
$10,000 honourarium
