    The Winnipeg Film Group is a charitable artist-run nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the creation, exhibition, and appreciation of independent film and media art. Through our in-kind sponsorship program, we provide community groups access to Tier 1 film production equipment and facilities to empower local filmmakers and foster diverse storytelling. Please note this sponsorship only covers our Production rentals, and does not include the Dave Barber Cinematheque (DBC). The DBC is for priority use of in-house programming. Rental requests of the should be submitted at-least two months in advance (davebarbercinematheque.com/advertising-rentals/theatre-rentals/)

  • Community groups who receive sponsorships agree to:

    • Abide by the WFG Rentals Policy (download printable rentals policy here)
    • Acknowledgement of Assistance as per our rentals policy. The use of WFG equipment or facilities is a form of assistance that our organization provides the community group, filmmaker or video artist, and as such the Winnipeg Film Group must be acknowledged in the credits of any film or video production receiving such assistance. Acknowledgment may also include social media.
