Community Feedback #2 to Help Plan Improvements at Crowder County Park

The 2018 bond for Parks, Greenways, Recreation and Open Space included funds to expand Crowder County Park. Renovations and improvements slated for Crowder focus on new facilities such as a park center and classroom; improving the natural playground, pond overlook and teaching platform; and integrating the additional 96 acres acquired in July 2019. Work is expected to be complete in summer 2027.

Community meeting #1 was held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, at Crowder County Park where a site analysis of the park was presented. Community meeting #2 was held on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, at Kraft Family YMCA where concept plans were presented.
