  • Why Use This Form:

There are countless combinations of paint color, location, and piece-part specifications. This form is designed to simplify the process by covering 95% of the most common scenarios.

Each line item includes a space for notes, and there’s an additional comment section at the bottom for any extra details. To complete this form accurately, refer to your contract under the materials section, where your approved products and available sheens are outlined.

One of the most frequent issues in painting projects is miscommunication of color details from the customer to the technicians. This form helps prevent the majority of those mistakes, making it an essential tool for your peace of mind—and ours.

It also serves as a valuable record for you to keep, while we retain a copy on file for future reference. Using this form ensures clear communication, minimizes errors, and creates a reliable documentation process for all involved.

Any color requiring only one coat will be matched by us. There’s no need to provide color information, as we’ll handle all paint matching. Similarly, if you're supplying paint for a "Painter For A Day", color details are not necessary. If you have leftover paint in its original container to be used for a match, simply show it to your tech team during the initial work order review. This form is primarily intended for documenting color changes. If your color changes are in the contract you approved, you do not need to provide them again.

The color submission form is divided into 5 sections.
    Cabinet Colors
    Interior Colors
    Exterior Colors
Ready Seal & Flood Wood Stain Colors

  • Cabinets: Simply select the location of your cabinet and fill in the color information. If there is a cabinet location not available in the drop down menu select "Misc." and label the location in the note section.

  •
  • Interior: If you are painting your whole home and have multiple colors this section is the most difficult to complete. Start with the most used color first for each house part (Wall/Ceiling/Trim) . For example: You plan on using colorABC on walls in every room but the living room. In the first drop down select "Walls", and under Room Location/s type "All but living" and complete the rest of the color information as prompted. On Color2  select "Walls" again and in Room Location/s type "Living" and complete the rest of the color information as prompted. Repeat this process for all your colors and move on to the next house pats (Ceiling/Trim) only if you are changing colors. If you do not select a sheen the following defaults will be used. Ceiling/Flat Sheen, Wall/Low Sheen and Trim/Semi-Gloss.

  •
  • Exterior: For this section just select the piece being painted and complete the balance of the color information. For house pieces not predefined select "Misc." and label the piece in the note section. If you do not select a sheen the following defaults will be used. Siding/Satin and Trim/Semi-Gloss.
