Register now for the 1st Annual Walk with Safe Coalition for Human Trafficking (SAFECHR).
This FREE event will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in Wicker Park, Highland, Indiana.
This year's theme is "INDIANA UNITES: STEPS TO FREEDOM" - Building Resilience, Reimagining Wholeness.
We are honored to have Roger DeHart, an anti-human trafficking advocate and Broward County Court Bailiff from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, walk with us to bring awareness about the plight of human trafficking victims worldwide. Mr. DeHart began his first grassroots walk from the steps of the Broward Courthouse and has since walked over 2.5 Million steps with the sole purpose of raising awareness of human trafficking.
Roger DeHart started his nonprofit charity, First S.T.O.P. (Saving Teens and Others from Predators), after witnessing firsthand the devastating effects human trafficking has had on the hundreds of men, women, and children who have passed through the courtroom where he serves. This walk is another opportunity for Roger to connect with everyday Americans to talk about how we can all be a part of the solution.
Registration is FREE; however, everyone must register.
T-shirts are available for purchase and can be picked up at the event starting at 8:00 a.m.
NOTE: All participants must sign waiver, no exception!
