  • *** To fill out this form:*You MUST be over the age of 18.* You MUST show proof of identification with current address.* If you are renting you must have a signed letter or copy of your lease or agreement from your landlord stating you are allowed to have such pet. (This includes adult children living with parents.)

  • Adoption Fees

    Kitten: $125 Adult: $90 Barn cats: $25/+ donation (If adopting 2 or more cats there is a discount) All cats are fixed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and vaccinated.

  • The above pet (prior to adoption) has been examined by a vet or by the organization’s medical staff. Doylestown Rescue and TNR is not responsible for any household or personal damage done by said pet. Doylestown Rescue and TNR advises that all new pets be restricted for the first few days until they learn their new routine.  Doylestown Rescue and TNR is not liable if pet above bites, attacks, or scratches you or another person or even another animal. The adopter is solely responsible for this animal, to properly handle and maintain them.

    All animals must be up to date on all their veterinary care every year. All adopters must take their animals to the vet YEARLY for an exam.

     All cats adopted from us MUST remain INDOOR ONLY unless adopting a barn cat.

    All animals will receive a proper diet and have access to water at all times.

    I understand that Doylestown Rescue and TNR is not liable for the behavior, temperament, or illness that may arise after said animal is adopted. It is the new owner’s responsibility to provide the training or veterinary care it may need due to such things mentioned.

    Only positive reinforcement may be used with animals adopted from Doylestown Rescue and TNR. What is not allowed to be used: Shock Collars (even ones that “just vibrate or beep”), Prong Collars, physical harm, hitting, aerosol cans that can be used for herding breeds, scare tactic, air horns, spray bottles, newspapers, etc.. We want the best for our pets, and it starts with their owners. Behavioral problems start with their owners, and these can and will cause problems that could potentially cause an animal to be euthanized. We want the best for our pets, and we hope you do too!

    NO ANIMAL IS TO BE ALTERED IN ANY WAY INCLUDING: CROPPING OF EARS, TAILS VOCAL CORDS, OR DECLAWING.

    I understand that I must teach my children to behave around the animals.

    Tiffany or her staff at Doylestown Rescue and TNR reserves the right to make follow-up visits or phone calls concerning the animal's health and well-being and hopes the new adopter understands our concerns. Doylestown Rescue and TNR also reserves the unqualified right to remove the pet if the conditions are deemed, in Doylestown Rescue and TNR's sole discretion, to be unsuitable for the animal.

    If said pet cannot be kept to live out its life in the care of the person(s) signing below, Doylestown Rescue and TNR will try to assist in finding a new home.   

    PLEASE CONTACT DOYLESTOWN TNR IF EUTHANASIA OF SAID ADOPTED ANIMAL IS CONSIDERED

    If any of this contract is violated, Doylestown Rescue and TNR reserves the right to seize the animal, contact proper authorities and possibly seek legal action.

    Doylestown Rescue and TNR has the right to refuse an application if false information is given or we see fit. Filling out this application does not guarantee you have adopted the animal you applied for.
