    🔍 Who we are looking for:

    Role 1: 👨‍🏫 RECRUITER: Behavioral Interview (Week 1)

    As a recruiter, you will lead the first stage of the interview mockup program: the behavioural interview, designed to assess a candidate’s soft skills, such as critical thinking, communication, and collaboration.

    This 1-hour event lets you gain insights into the candidate’s personality and working style beyond their resume or portfolio. 

    What You Will Bring:

    • Recruiting Expertise: Proven experience recruiting for UX roles or similar positions in tech or design, with a strategic approach to building talent pipelines and guiding candidates through the recruitment cycle.
    • Interviewing Skills: Ability to ask targeted questions to assess candidate fit and offer constructive, growth-focused feedback.
    • Strategic hiring: Experience developing recruitment strategies that align with company goals and consistently yield top talent.

    Role 2: 🙆‍♂️ HIRING MANAGER: Portfolio Interview (Week 2)

    As a Hiring Manager, you’ll oversee the second stage of the Interview Mockup program: the Portfolio Interview, where candidates present a case study from their portfolio.

    This 1.5-hour event allows you to evaluate the candidate's design thinking, problem-solving abilities, and leadership potential. 

    What You Will Bring:

    • UX Team Management Experience: Proven experience managing UX teams, including interviewing and hiring top UX talent and making hiring decisions.
    • Leadership and Mentorship: Background in mentoring UX professionals, with hands-on experience in performance management and career development.
    • Portfolio and Design Evaluation: Expertise in reviewing and critiquing portfolios, evaluating design skills and problem-solving approaches.
       

    Role 3: 🧑‍🎨 SENIOR UX DESIGNER: Take-Home Assignment Review (Week 3)

    As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll conduct the final stage of the Interview Mockup program: the Take-Home Assignment Review, where candidates present their design solutions.

    This 1-hour event is an opportunity to refine your evaluative skills while providing constructive feedback to the Job Seeker. 

    What You Will Bring:

    • Project Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading UX projects or teams, mentoring junior designers, and guiding the design process.
    • Hiring Process Involvement: Experience participating in or leading the hiring process for UX roles, including developing interview questions, conducting interviews, and assessing design portfolios.
    • Portfolio Evaluation Skills: Expertise in reviewing and critiquing portfolios, evaluating design skills and problem-solving approaches.
    • Real-Time Design Assessment: Ability to design and evaluate UX projects that assess candidates' problem-solving skills, creativity, and design thinking in real time.

      • Provide constructive feedback and allow time for the Job Seeker’s questions.
      • Fill out the feedback form to complete the role expectation.
    • 🙆‍♂️ HIRING MANAGER: Portfolio Interview (Week 2) 
    • As a Hiring Manager, you’ll oversee the second stage of the Interview Mockup program: the Portfolio Interview, where candidates present a case study from their portfolio. This 1.5-hour event allows you to evaluate the candidate's design thinking, problem-solving abilities, and leadership potential. 

      The structure includes:

      • Review the Job Seeker’s case study presentation, focusing on their approach, challenges, and solutions.
      • Engage in Q&A about the case study, probing for deeper insights into their decision-making process.
      • Allow the Job Seeker to ask questions about the team, company, or role.
        Provide feedback on their presentation and case study and answer any remaining questions.
      • Fill out the feedback form to complete the role expectation.
    • 🧑‍🎨 SENIOR UX DESIGNER: Take-Home Assignment Review (Week 3) 
    • As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll conduct the final stage of the Interview Mockup program: the Take-Home Assignment Review, where candidates present their design solutions. This 1-hour event is an opportunity to refine your evaluative skills while providing constructive feedback to the Job Seeker.

      The session is structured as follows:

      • Introduce yourself and the Job Seeker.
      • Review the Job Seeker’s presentation of their take-home assignment, focusing on their solution, rationale, and approach.
      • Engage in a Q&A session, challenging their thought process and exploring alternative solutions.
      • Provide actionable feedback on their work, highlighting strengths and areas for growth.
      • Fill out the feedback form to complete the role expectation.
