• Quality Improvement & Expansion Grant

    The Reno County Child Care Task Force (RCCTF) is offering grant opportunities to support home-based, center-based, and school-based providers in enhancing quality, expanding capacity, or increasing services for families. Providers may choose from pre-designed Quality & Expansion packages or submit a custom proposal tailored to their program’s needs.

  • If you are not the center director or owner/operator, have you consulted with your employer and received their approval to submit for this grant?

  • Child care providers may choose from pre-designed grant packages aimed at enhancing the quality of care, or you may customize your own grant request to meet the specific needs of your program.

  • Which type of grant are you submitting?*
    • Pre-Designed Quality & Expansion Packages 

    • The options for the pre-designed grant packages are listed below. Several of these packages are designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to tailor them to your program's specific needs.

      For example:

      The Grow & Rest Package allows you to request more than one Infant Expansion Package if you serve more than two infants or have multiple infant classrooms.  The Snuggle & Snooze Package can be requested multiple times based on the number of enrolled children needing nap-time accommodations.

      Please note: Each provider's request may not exceed $5,000.

    • Smooth Start: Drop-Off & Communication Essentials - provider can select to receive more than one of these packages to furnish multiple classrooms. Each package is $2,000.

    • To submit a Custom Quality & Expansion Grant, you will need to provide a brief overview of your project, including how it will enhance the quality of care or expand capacity. In addition, please include TWO itemized quotes to support your request and ensure accurate budgeting.
