Friday, October 2nd - 2pm on Main Street in Sugarcreek
In case of inclement weather, the rain date for the parade will be Saturday, October 3rd

Judging and parade formation will be at the First United Church of Christ in Sugarcreek.

Participant numbers will be available at 1:00 p.m. in front of church and Judging will begin at 1:30 p.m. with all categories being judged.

No registrations or category changes on day of parade.

Swiss attire and decorations are encouraged.

All categories will be judged with winners receiving the following prizes:
 1st place- $15   2nd place- $10   3rd place- $5

The winners of all categories are encouraged to ride on the Sugarcreek Business Association Float or walk in the Grand Parade on Saturday, October 3rd at 2:00 p.m.

Floats will receive the following prizes: 1st place-$150; 2nd place-$100; 3rd place-$50. All other participating floats will receive $25. No throwing of any item off floats. All floats are encouraged to participate in the Swiss Festival Grand Parade on Saturday. No prizes will be given on Saturday. Please register floats immediately following the Kiddie Parade at the Alpine Hills Museum or by calling 330-852-4113.

There will be no registration the week of the parade. For information on cancellations due to weather, listen to WKLM, WJER or WTUZ or check out Ohio Swiss Festival on Facebook or ohioswissfestival.com. If canceled, the rain date is Saturday, October 3, at 10:00 a.m.

 

The child of the undersigned wishes to participate in the Ohio Swiss Festival Kiddie Parade. The undersigned acknowledges that he/she has been notified by the Ohio Swiss Festival Association that they should be insured against all risks involved with participation in said parade. The undersigned also acknowledges that he/she assumes all risks involved in connection with their participation in said parade. The undersigned agrees to waive any and all claims or rights of action they may have against the Ohio Swiss Festival Association, or their members for damages incurred as a result of their involvement in said parade.
