For the 28th Annual Woodstock Film Festival, we are seeking a group of dynamic and diverse volunteers who love movies, have experience working in the film industry in some capacity, and have deep knowledge and understanding of the art and craft of filmmaking. Having experience on a screening committee or as a programmer at another film festival is a plus.
As a member of our screening committee, you will watch films for the festival and help decide which films will be shown at the 2027 festival.
The screening process runs from January until August 2027. To apply, please fill out the information below.
Weekly Workload
- You will receive three (3) feature films or six (5) short films weekly.
- For either structure, you agree to assess the quality of films from a discerning perspective and write intelligent, non-abrasive comments, including constructive criticism.
- Please note that we cannot control the specific assignments of categories, genres, or subject matters to judges. As such, you agree to review all film lengths and genres.
Some free tickets to select films during the festival will be offered as a token of our gratitude. Thank you for applying!
