RULE #1) You are allowed ONE submission per author in each category.
RULE #2) We will NOT consider submissions that contain explicit content (smut, spice, innuendos), language (blaspheming, cursing), and/or excessive/graphic violence. If your book includes any or all of these things, please note that submission fees are non-refundable, but you will not be considered in this contest.
RULE #3) Submissions must be postmarked or submitted by end of day March 1st.
The winner for each category will be announced May 1st 2025. The authors will then be contacted and informed of our decision before this date.
RULE #4) Physical copies of books cannot be returned unless return postage is provided.
RULE #5) Award Seal Applies Only To Work(s) Submitted. The winner will receive the rights to use The Wordsmith's Edge Book & Poetry Award seal(s) digitally (on their website, newsletter, social media, etc.) and on the physical/digital cover of the winning work(s). Unpermitted use will be subject to litigation.
