    Operations & Administration – Supporting day-to-day office and festival operations and organization, including database management, scheduling, coordination, and general research.


    Event Production & Festival Support – Assisting with year-round screenings, special events, and festival activities through hands-on production support, including venue setup and breakdown, production coordination, and, for those interested, helping with film submissions screening.


    Community Outreach & Street Team – Engaging with the local community through flyering, grassroots promotion, and on-the-ground support at screenings and events, including guest check-in, ticketing, and merch sales.


    Development & Fundraising – Assisting with donor and sponsor research, fundraising initiatives, grants, database management, and development-related outreach.


    PR, Press & Editorial

    • Assisting with press outreach, creating media materials, blog or newsletter content, copyediting, conducting interviews, and researching or brainstorming written content for festival storytelling
    • Marketing & Communications – Creating campaigns, newsletters, growing audience engagement, community partnerships, and supporting general communications around WFF programs and events.


    Social Media & Graphic Design – Creating and managing social media content and visual assets for websites, email campaigns, print materials, signage, and festival branding, while using creativity to develop content ideas and support audience engagement.


    Video Production, Photography & Editing – Photographing and filming events, interviews, and other festival activities, editing photo/video content, and organizing media in platforms like Flickr to maintain WFF’s visual archives.
