  • Job Summary:
    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented  Manager to oversee multiple Team USA Managers that will be responsible for managing travel arrangements.

    The Manager will coordinate logistics for athletes, coaches, and staff, ensuring seamless travel experiences while adhering to budgets and schedules. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a thorough understanding of travel industry practices, and experience working with sports organizations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Team Leadership:
    Oversee Team Managers to ensure efficient and accurate planning and booking of travel arrangements.
    Support for all Team Managers before during and after Team Events.

    Travel Coordination:
    Develop comprehensive travel plans, including flights, accommodations, practices, ground transportation, and special requests.
    Ensure travel arrangements align with team schedules, game times, and practice requirements.

    Vendor Relationships:
    Negotiate contracts with airlines, hotels, and transportation providers to secure competitive rates and favorable terms.
    Build and maintain relationships with travel vendors to ensure reliable services.

    Budget Management:
    Monitor and manage travel budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.

    Establish travel expense details and provide detailed financial reports to USARS management to approve and send funds.
    Problem Resolution:

    Address last-minute changes, cancellations, or emergencies with effective solutions.

    Act as the primary point of contact for escalations during travel-related disruptions.
    Compliance and Documentation:

    Ensure all travel arrangements comply with organizational policies and procedures.
    Maintain accurate records of bookings, itineraries, and financial transactions for individuals and entire teams.
    Preferred Skills:

    Experience in travel management, preferably in the sports industry.
    Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams.
    Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
    Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    Proficiency in travel management software and tools.
    Rink Hockey knowledge and connections across the world.
    Familiarity with the unique travel needs of athletes and sports teams.
    Knowledge of international travel requirements, including visas and customs.
    Experience coordinating group travel logistics.

    May involve travel to oversee team operations or scout vendors. Unpaid.
