Child's legal birth certificate.
Godparents must provide their Marriage certificate in the Catholic Church (if they are married In case of single godparents, they need to present their Confirmation Certificate.
If the parents are not registered members of St. John Bosco or do not reside within the parish boundaries, must submit a letter from their parish giving them permission to baptize their child in this parish.
It is mandatory that parents and godparents attend a pre-baptism class. Pre-baptism classes are given in Spanish. Children are not allowed into the class; Classes are held on the third Saturday of the month at 10:00 am. At the Parish hall.
If any parent practices another religion which is not the Catholic religion, the applicant must submit a notarized letter signed by the non-Catholic parent giving his/her consent for the child to be baptized in the Catholic faith.
If the parents are separated or divorced, and one will not attend the Baptism. The applicant must submit a notarized letter signed by the other party, giving consent for the child to be baptize in the Catholic faith.
Baptisms are celebrated on the fourth Saturday of each month at 12:00 noon.

All documents must be submitted at least THREE WEEKS PRIOR to the date of the Baptism.
Although all the sacraments administered by the Catholic Church are free of charge, it is suggested a minimum donation of:
$50.00 for registered active parishioners contributing for the past six month. $70.00 for non-registered members that live within the parish area. $100.00 for others that are not registered and do not live within the parish area. The donation for a private baptism is $250.00 for registered active parishioners (contributing for the past six months) and for those who are not registered parishioners or live outside of the Parish boundaries the donation will be $500.00 All donations help the mission and maintenance of the Parish.
