Our mission is simple yet profound: to be Christ to every person who visits Franciscan University's campus throughout the summer. Each week, thousands of guests from across the country—and beyond—come to encounter Christ at our conferences. Through teamwork and collaboration across departments, we make this experience possible.

Your daily tasks may vary, but our shared purpose remains the same: bringing Christ to our guests and to each other.

The Characteristics We Look for in a Student Leader

As a Student Lead, you’ll embody the spirit of servant leadership through:

    • Valuing People: You see the inherent worth in others and are committed to serving them, not just benefiting from their contributions.
    • Humility: You lead with a genuine focus on others, putting their needs before your own. True leadership is about what we accomplish together.
    • Listening: You listen deeply and without judgment, eager to learn and understand those you serve.
    • Trust: You build trust through authenticity and dependability, empowering others with your confidence in them.
    • Caring: You approach leadership with kindness and compassion, serving others with a heart for people and purpose.

What We Expect in Every Role

Regardless of the department, all our team members are united by these core expectations:

    • Focus on Guests: Always prioritize the experience and needs of our guests.
    • Personal Integrity: Be honest, dependable, and accountable in all you do.
    • Stewardship of Resources: Take care of the resources entrusted to you, using them wisely and responsibly.
