  • Downtown Event Marketing Micro-Grant:

    Apply for a marketing boost for your recurring event in 2025!
  • The Dubuque Main Street Downtown Event Marketing Micro-Grant is a program organized in partnership with the Telegraph Herald and the Dubuque Main Street Promotions Committee. This program is intended to assist in the marketing and promotion of recurring events in downtown Dubuque. Six projects will be awarded grants with a value of $500 each in 2025. $250 of which will be considered "flexible marketing funds" to be used at your discretion. An additional $250 in the form of advertising credit for the Telegraph Herald.

    Usage of funds will be limited to marketing expenses through print or digital media including but not limited to, social media “sponsored posts”, print media advertisements, radio advertisements, etc.. This grant does not fund the production of promotional content. These funds will be restricted to the distribution of promotional content that an organization may produce. 


    Grant Recipients will be notified by January 27th, 2025 and will be asked to provide a report on the usage of funds with any supporting documents to show success by December 31st, 2025 or after all obligations have been completed.

  • Disclaimer: Any recipient of this grant is required to include the Dubuque Main Street and the Telegraph Herald logos in all marketing materials and promotional content related to the funded event. Proper branding is essential to acknowledge the support provided through this grant. Branding assets such as logos will be distributed to each participant in appropriate file formats upon distribution of the awarded funds.
