    You must also participate in a live audition on your instrument/voice.
  • 1.  Portfolios should consist of 1-2 compositions (freshmen) or 2-3 compositions (transfer students). The compositions should be representative of differing styles of contemporary concert music. At least one score  should be notated with conventional music notation, either by hand or computer notation software. At least one composition should be written for typical acoustic instruments and/or voices.

    2.  All compositions should be accompanied by recordings. Computer generated sample-playback (DAW) versions are acceptable but live performances are preferred. Create a weblink (URL) for your video by posting it online by either uploading your videos to a file sharing program (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) or to a video hosting website (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.).  Please ensure that your videos can be viewed by anyone with the link before submitting.

    3.  Brief biography and a list of references familiar with your work as a student or composer.  

    4.  Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025.

    You may submit up to four (4) URLs.
  • 1. Make an unedited video recording of your audition. You may make one long video for your entire audition or you may record each portion of the audition as a separate video.

    2. Then, create a weblink (URL) for your video by posting it online by either uploading your videos to a file-sharing program (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) or to a video hosting website (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.). Please ensure that your videos can be viewed by anyone with the link before submitting.
