Please confirm you have read out and the customer understands the following:
The price for of a Home Charger includes a standard installation.
Standard installation includes 10 metres of cable from the electric meter box or consumer unit to the installation point.
If the installation requires more than 10 meters of cable, there may be additional costs incurred to you, the customer.
If cables need complex routing through the house or underground, cost of installation may increase.
In the event your installation falls outside the parameters of a standard installation, you (the customer) will be given a quote for additional work before proceeding.
If you wish to proceed, the balance will be payable directly to the installation team.
Terms and Conditions – Extra Costs
To be negotiated prior to installation between the home owner and installer
The following information provides a guideline of work that is considered to be beyond the standard
installation specification:
• Cable runs exceeding 10 metres (chargeable per metre thereafter)
• Any additional mechanical protection required for the cabling – i.e. trunking, conduit, etc.
• Any cable chasing requested by the homeowner
• Any ground works requested by the homeowner
• Any other works required on site in order for the installation to comply with regulations
• Any additional or unusual works requested by the homeowner in order for the install to take place,
i.e. gas and water pipe bonding, equipment clearing, plumbing work, etc.
• An additional cost of £99 +VAT will be chargeable for the supply, installation and setup of a solar
monitoring CT.
Please note:
• Removal of the serial number from the unit will invalidate the warranty on the product
• All installations must comply with current IET Wiring Regulations
