Public Relations Grant
ECOEA has annually budgeted for locally developed public relations program. The following guidelines will be used for the proposal: (2/24/98) (2/12/14)
1. Projects should promote education through the educator, the local association, and ECOEA.
2. Projects which enhance local education status will be given first consideration.
3. ECOEA’s name should be prominently displayed in any publicity and should be credited with assisting in the presentation of the project.
4. Grants will be made for first time proposals as a way of initiating a PR Project in a local

5. Deadline for proposals will be determined annually. (2/8/17)
6. In order to be eligible for a Public Relations Grant, locals must have at least one elected delegate attend one or more of the following: ECOEA Fall RA, ECOEA Fall Delegate Briefing or ECOEA Spring RA the previous year. (2/12/14) (2/8/23)
7. All recipients must provide documentation/final report. (Appendix C)
8. Failure to submit documentation on a timely basis or expending grant funds for purposes other than those for which they were sought will preclude the award of further grants to the grant recipient. (02/11/15)
9. Eligible locals may receive one PR grant per year. (3/13/24)
10. Gift cards may not exceed 20% of the grant amount. (3/13/24)
