1. Purpose of the Fellowship Program
The WorldEd Foundation Global Fellowship Program aims to build a global network of educators, institutions, innovators, and changemakers committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through education.
By applying to or participating in the Fellowship, applicants agree to these Terms and Conditions, which outline responsibilities, expectations, and requirements for maintaining Fellowship status.
2. Eligibility
To qualify for Fellowship consideration, applicants must:
- Have fully participated in at least one WorldEd Foundation annual project or initiative.
- Demonstrate commitment to advancing education and SDG-aligned community impact.
- Submit accurate and complete information in the Fellowship Application Form.
- Show capacity to collaborate, share outcomes, and actively contribute to the global network.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
3. Application Process
- All application information must be truthful, complete, and up to date.
- WorldEd Foundation may request additional documents or conduct further review before approval.
- WorldEd Foundation reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its discretion, without obligation to provide specific reasoning.
- Fellows will be notified via email upon acceptance and will receive their official Registered WorldEd Fellow Certificate.
4. Fellowship Responsibilities & Commitments
Approved Fellows agree to:
- Maintain active participation by contributing to at least one WorldEd Foundation project per year.
- Share project progress updates, event outcomes, highlights by video or images, or SDG-aligned impact reports annually.
- Uphold the values of inclusivity, respect, collaboration, and global citizenship.
- Use the Fellowship title and badge responsibly and appropriately.
- Adhere to all program guidelines, communication expectations, and deadlines.
- Failure to uphold these responsibilities may result in inactive status or removal from the program.
5. Participation in Fellow-Led or External Projects
For any project, event, or initiative led or managed outside WorldEd Foundation:
- The Fellow or partner institution is solely responsible for obtaining necessary permissions, including:
- parental/guardian consent for minors
- media release consent
- participant waivers
- data collection and privacy permissions
- The Fellow must ensure compliance with local laws, education policies, and ethical guidelines.
- WorldEd Foundation assumes no liability for externally managed activities.
6. Data Privacy & Use of Information
By submitting an application, applicants consent to:
The collection, storage, and use of shared data for Fellowship administration and communication.
Receiving WorldEd Foundation updates, newsletters, and program invitations.
WorldEd Foundation will:
Handle all personal and institutional information responsibly and confidentially.
Not share or sell data to third parties without prior consent, unless required by law.

7. Promotion & Visibility
Fellows grant WorldEd Foundation permission to:
Highlight their SDG-aligned projects, events, and achievements on the website, publications, and social media.
Display the Fellow’s name, institution (if applicable), and submitted impact information as part of program promotion.
No confidential or sensitive information will be shared without explicit permission.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials, resources, and tools provided by WorldEd Foundation remain its intellectual property and may not be resold, modified, or redistributed without written authorization.
Fellow-created content remains the property of the Fellow or institution; however, by submitting project updates or media, the Fellow grants WorldEd Foundation permission to feature such content with attribution.
9. Fellowship Status & Revocation
WorldEd Foundation may suspend or revoke Fellowship status if:
- a Fellow fails to meet annual participation requirements
- provides false information
- engages in misconduct that conflicts with Foundation values
- violates program guidelines
- misuses the Fellowship title, badge, or affiliation
- Fellows who become inactive may reapply or request reactivation.
10. Amendments
WorldEd Foundation reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Fellows will be notified of any major changes.
