Engagement Agreement & Fees

This is a legal agreement initiated by you ("the Client"), to engage 78 Adventures Travel Co. ("the Company"), in services to research proposed itineraries for your upcoming travel needs. There is an up front, non-refundable research fee starting at $150 for these services which will be applied to booked travel if the client chooses to book one of the proposed itineraries. Please read the entire details below:
Parties and Scope
This is a legal agreement initiated by you ("the Client"), to engage 78 Adventures Travel Co. ("the Company"), in services to research proposed itineraries for your upcoming travel needs. This is not an agreement for booking or for any services outside of the scope of travel and tourism research and proposing itineraries for your trip. Please read the entire details below of the agreement before signing this form.

Deals
Although we consider our services a great value, especially our pre-planned group packages, Travel Agents (now called “Travel Advisors”) do not have access to discount fares or have the ability to negotiate with travel suppliers. (Airlines, cruise lines, etc) A Travel Advisor’s value comes from special expertise in destinations or experiences, and creating a vacation that is perfect for you. 99.9% of the time, the price for your experience will not be a “deal”.

Proposals vs. Quotes
Proposals, in the scope of these services, are not considered “quotes”, but estimates. The Client understands and accepts that although the Company strives to provide up-to-date pricing information, pricing, promotions and offers may change before booking and until a deposit is made. 

Fees
There are fees for this service, generally referred to as “research fees”. These fees are charged for any travel inquiries that are for custom vacation experiences, or non packaged group travel. The fees are as follows:
Basic: $150 a single itinerary option, up to 2 destinations, up to 8 travelers, up to 2 revisions.
Premium: $195 up to 3 itinerary options, up to 3 destinations, up to 8 travelers, up to 2 revisions.
Grande: $495 up to 3 itinerary options, up to 4 destinations, up to 20 travelers, up to 5 revisions.
Additional travelers, itineraries, cruise options, revisions or destinations, $45 each

Revision requests are limited to the scope listed in each service level, and further requests for revision will result in additional fees due.

This fee is paid up front before services are rendered and is non-refundable for any reason, once an itinerary is delivered to you. 

The amount paid for this fee will be applied as a credit toward booking one of the proposed itineraries through 78 Adventures Travel Co., after the initial booking deposit is made. This fee cannot be applied to any other unrelated itinerary, travel or service outside of this engagement.

No Obligation
The Client is under no obligation to buy or book any of the itineraries provided by the Company and the Company is not obligated to provide actual travel booking under this agreement. The fees paid cover only research services and the Company’s obligations are limited to providing planned itinerary proposals as included within the scope of the services offered herein.

Timeline
The Company will provide the requested itinerary options within 14 business days of this agreement and payment. 

Additional Terms & Conditions
By signing this agreement, the Client also agrees in full to the 78 Adventures Global Terms & Conditions & Privacy Policy available for review at https://www.78adventures.com/legal-pages/toc/

As per our privacy policy, by providing us with your name, mailing address, email address and/or telephone number, you are explicitly granting us permission to contact you via any of these means for the purposes of marketing or providing the service which you requested.

An additional agreement will be required for booking actual travel.
