This one-day, expert-level course is designed for physicians who have an advanced understanding of orthobiologic injections on the lower extremity and want to expand their skills in subchondral and intraosseous injections.
This diagnostic hands-on image guided injection skills course will provide a comprehensive review of anatomy, pathology, and pathophysiology of injury and degeneration. The course will start with a didactic session and diagnostic ultrasound scanning. The interventional techniques presented during the didactic instructional sessions and will be practiced under the direct supervision of the instructors in order to enable participants to become proficient with these skills.
Prerequisites: Prior to registering for this course, participants must have completed the IOF advanced hip/knee/ankle/foot curriculum.
