    Nominate a City of Lamar employee for our 5-STAR CITIZEN HERO Award or volunteer/s for our HEART of GOLD Award. Nominations are being accepted from community members AND employees in the 5-STAR, one of five to be awarded at the City's annual Christmas Party.

  • 5-STAR CITIZEN HERO: Recognition for those who those committed to satisfying fellow employees and/or community members (our customers)

    • Exceeds performance impacting the organization, coworkers, or customers in a positive manner

  • HEART of GOLD Award: The City of Lamar is also grateful to volunteers who do what our limited staff cannot do. We are also creating a HEART of GOLD Volunteer Award to acknowledge an individual, group, or board that goes above and beyond to make Lamar a better place. 

  • SELECTION / ANNOUNCEMENT OF AWARDS:
    Recipients will be selected by a committee chosen by the City Administrator’s office and announced at the annual City Christmas Party.
