  • Please enter your name above as you would like it to appear on a finalist's or winner's certificate if your entry is selected. Your Pen Name, if provided, will be used on any certificates or announcements.

  • The Cascade Writing Contest is for both published and unpublished
    writers and includes a number of categories and genres. The contest
    is continuing in the direction it took last year. All entries must be
    unpublished, even for writers who are published in a genre.


    This is in keeping with Cascade Christian Writers’ focus on
    being an incubator for new writers while also supporting seasoned
    writers. The goal of this contest is to provide writers with feedback on
    their writing (all contestants receive at least three score sheets with
    comments for each entry). It also gives writers an opportunity
    to get their polished writing in front of editors and agents who may be
    interested in their work. Even previously published writers need to find
    a home for their next work-in-progress.


    There is a change from previous years in that unpublished and
    previously published writers will be judged together. There will be
    four finalists, one winner, and one second-place award in
    each genre.

    Review the submission rules and general contest guidelines before proceeding with your submission.

  • Note: You may submit up to five entries total. You must submit a separate submission form for each entry you pay for.

    Entries must all be uploaded by 11:59 P.M. on February 15, 2026.

  • If you prefer not to pay electronically, select Pay by Check. Then mail a copy of your registration form and check to Cascade Christian Writers, PO Box 22, Gladstone OR 97027, with your name, address, and registration code so we can match the payment to this order. Your entry will be complete when payment is received and all of your entries have been uploaded on the submission form.
