Thumbnail Designer for Michael Ligier

We are looking to hire a Thumbnail Designer to handle thumbnail creation and experimentation for Michael Ligier's long-form videos.

Michael Ligier is one of the largest food and restaurant creators in the world amassing 4.5 million followers across platforms, is a TasteHunter for the World's 50 Best Restaurants, and has worked with most of the top restaurants around the world as well. He focuses on highlighting the most amazing food whether it's creations in his kitchen or going to some of the most exclusive restaurants. 

Here are his channels: Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok

This is a fully remote role on a project basis (will be paid per project or per thumbnail), flexible budget right now depending on experience level.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this role has a strong eye for design, a deep understanding of what makes thumbnails click-worthy, and experience in creating engaging visuals for digital platforms. This person should be highly creative and aware of social media trends to maximize audience engagement. A background in food content creation or a passion for the culinary world is a plus, but not required. This is a fully remote contract position.

Responsibilities

• Design and create high-quality, engaging thumbnails that align with our brand and video content and are optimized for maximum click-through rates.
• Collaborate with the content team to understand the theme, tone, and goal of each video.
• Stay updated on YouTube trends and best practices to keep the thumbnails fresh and competitive.
• Test and iterate design based on feedback and performance analytics.

Requirements

• Experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing thumbnail design or related work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other relevant software.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
