    • PARTICIPANT & TEAM WITHDRAWAL

      Changes to team participants can be made up until 11.59pm Friday May 30 and will incur a $50 per person administration fee.

      Entire teams who withdraw before the end of April will receive a 50% refund or can choose to transfer their registration to the following year. Entire teams who withdraw after April can transfer their registration to the following year.

      In the event of unforeseen personal circumstances resulting in full team withdrawals, refunds will be at the discretion of the committee.

      EVENT CANCELLATION

      In the event of public health concerns, extreme weather or surrounding conditions, and in the interests of participant and staff safety, Serra Terror Management reserves the right to cancel, reroute or delay any part of the Serra Terror event at short notice. Cancelled days will not be rescheduled.

      Prior to cancellation and / or amendments, the Serra Terror Management team will consult with relevant interested parties including but not limited to Parks Victoria, DELWP, CFA and other appropriate State authorities.

      Contingency plans may be implemented when the following conditions occur at any point along the route:

      Extreme weather – including cold, high winds and wind gusts, excessive rainfall prior and forecast, lightning and atmospheric conditions, fire danger, natural environmental dangers.

      Public Health – including but not limited to COVID related matters.

      NOTIFICATION

      Notification of cancellation or modification will be made at the earliest possible opportunity. This time may vary, and the process will vary pending the time of the amendment. Organisers will use a variety of communication methods including:

      • SMS
      • Email
      • Social Media

      In the case of event cancellation all services will be stood down.

      PARTICIPANT REFUND

      In the unlikely case of forced cancellation of the Serra terror, there is no guarantee in full or in part to refund, credit or exchange any fees that you have paid and this will be entirely at the discretion of the event committee. A decision like this would generally occur close to race date, at which point a considerable amount of funds would have gone towards the many expenses involved in hosting such an event.

      No responsibility is borne by the organisers for lost travel, accommodation, entry expenses or any other costs in relation to the event. We appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy.

      We strongly recommend that participants and support crews have personal insurance and ambulance cover.

      PARTICIPATION RESPONSIBILITY

      It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that they wear appropriate clothing, drink and eat appropriate foods / fluids and are fit for the challenge. It is the responsibility of the participant to make appropriate decisions about whether to start or continue participating based on their physical condition.

      In registering for Serra Terror 2025 you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Event Rules. A copy of the Event Rules can be found on the Serra Terror website or by clicking HERE.

    • A dinner and compulsory briefing will be held in Dunkeld on Friday 6 June, 5pm to 7pm. All participants are expected to attend from 6pm. A finish celebration will also be held on Sunday June 8 (afternoon). Both meals are included in your registration fee.
