    NPLG is Engage the Brain's homeschool hybrid, micro-school for students age 7 - 17. This academically-focused program is designed for students that do best in a small group setting taught by trained and experienced Learning Specialists using explicit and multisensory instruction. Students are expected to continue their academic studies on at-home days.

    - Connections (ages 9-11, grades 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th)

    - Middle School (ages 11-14, grades 6th, 7th, 8th)

     

    ** If we have an opening and you are strongly interested in our program, please fill out the Family Application instead.  This will also initiate a phone call from one of our directors with discussion of setting up a required Shadow Day.  There is a $25 application fee for the Family Application.

  • Take a Look at Our Learning Environment

    NPLG students are grouped in multi-age/grade classes depending on student's individual academic and social needs. Class sizes are limited to 10 students per specialist. Classes are academically-focused taught by trained and experienced Learning Specialists. Instruction is direct and multisensory in approach. Students are expected to participate in the academic activities, including possible at-home activities. As this is a homeschool support program, it is expected that students continue their educational journey with their families on at-home days. Extension activities are offered as a "add-on" for those families that would like additional curriculum support that is personalized for your student. Classes are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 9:00 - 2:00. Add-On Options: Max-Out Mondays 9:00 - 12:00 noon - a time to work on foundational skills in reading, writing, and math. Personalized Curriculum - Our specialists will create a personalized curriculum for your child, including reading, writing, math, and social studies/science extension projects. One-on-one 45-minute sessions are available before/after class or M/F (one or two sessions per week) as an "add-on" at a discounted rate for NPLG students. Full Time or A-La-Carte (limited) Options are available. Students are expected to participate in-person. Contact us for additional information.

    Classes:  Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

     

  • Student Schedule

    Tuesdays and Thursdays are dedicated to academically focused classes: Love of Literature, Words & Writing, and Multisensory Math. Wednesdays are Elective Days, which focus on Social Studies/History, Science, and Art. Monday's focus is on foundational skills.
