HAZEL MEARDITH POOLER SCHOLARSHIP

The Hazel Meardith Pooler Scholarship is awarded to a female high school senior who has been accepted for admission to an accredited college or university. The award amount of $1,000.00 is provided to assist the student with college expenses such as, textbooks, tuition, fees, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

Any female senior of an accredited high school within the membership service areas of Dublin-Laurens Alumnae Chapter who is planning to attend a college or university.

CRITERIA

1. Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale

2. Leadership/Community Involvement

3. Economic Need

4. SAT/ACT Scores

5. Successfully complete all state and local assessment requirements for graduation

6. Personal Statement

7. Official proof of college acceptance

8. No holds on high school records

DEADLINE: Completed application, high school transcript, SAT/ACT scores, and college acceptance letter must be submitted by April 1, 2026 to be eligible.

The purpose of this organization is to promote academic excellence and provide services and programs to promote human welfare. We are a non-profit organization committed to public service.
