    This form is designed to simplify the process of coordinating in-kind donations and resource drives. Whether you’re donating goods or organizing a drive on our behalf, please complete this form, and a member of our team will reach out with the next steps.

    This form serves as an initial review of your donation or resource drive proposal. Once submitted, our team will assess current needs, and if your items align with what we can accept at this time, will confirm your appointment time to drop off the items. Please note that your appointment must be confirmed before dropping your items off.

    At this time, we are unable to accept donations of furniture or general clothing items. However, we gratefully accept gently loved winter coats, as they are essential for the individuals and families we serve during the colder months.

    • Why am I being asked about "Fair Market Value"? 

      • Tax Deduction Purposes: If you plan to claim a tax deduction for your donation, the IRS requires donors to determine the fair market value of the donated items. Providing this information upfront helps both you and the organization document the value for compliance purposes.
      • Accurate Recordkeeping: Organizations often need to track the estimated value of donated goods for internal records, reporting, or grant applications.
      • Resource Allocation: Knowing the FMV helps the organization assess the overall impact of donations and prioritize their use effectively.

      If you’re unsure how to determine FMV, it generally refers to the price the item would sell for in its current condition on the open market. For example, you might consider the resale value of a similar item on a platform like eBay or in a thrift store. Note that the organization cannot assign the value for you; this is something you as the donor must estimate.

    • Why am I being asked to upload a photo of the items I plan to donate?

      You may be asked to upload a photo of the items you plan to donate for the following reasons:

      • Item Assessment: Photos help the organization quickly evaluate the condition, quality, and suitability of the items for the communities they serve. This ensures the donation aligns with their current needs and standards.
      • Efficient Processing: Visual confirmation streamlines the intake process, reducing back-and-forth communication and making it easier to determine whether the donation can be accepted before scheduling a drop-off or pick-up.
      • Transparency: Photos provide clear documentation of what is being donated, which is helpful for accurate recordkeeping and accountability.
      • Saving Resources: Reviewing photos in advance helps the organization avoid logistical challenges, such as arranging transportation or storage for items that exceed their need. 

      By uploading a photo, you’re helping our organization save time and resources, enabling them to focus more effectively on their mission. Thank you! 

    • Please note that a $35 administration fee will be applied on all donation pick ups. This helps us offset the cost of gas, the driver's time, and van wear and tear. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
