2025 FEE SCHEDULE :

Concert Class & Canada West Excellence Class....$15

LDMF welcomes all competitors to enter for the educational experience and for provincial recommendations. In order to be eligible for scholarships, competitors must have a primary residence within the District (Lafleche, Fir Mountain, Glentworth, McCord, Ferland, Mankota, Hazenmore, Kincaid, Meyronne & Woodrow) or must receive instruction within our District. Two scholarships will be awarded specifically to visiting competitors.

Competitors 12 & under need only to compete in a total of two (2) solo voice or musical theatre classes, regardless of discipline, to qualify for voice awards or scholarships. However, they must compete in two (2) piano solos to qualify for piano scholarships.

Competitors 13 & over must compete in two (2) solo classes in the same discipline (ie: 2 piano, 2 voice, 2 musical theatre) to qualify for the corresponding awards and scholarships.

Competitors of all ages must only compete in one (1) solo speech arts class to qualify for scholarships.

Duets, small ensembles, family ensembles, choral groups or choir performances do not qualify as an individual (solo) entry. These groups, however, can qualify for the corresponding awards and scholarships with one entry.

Entries that are "for adjudication only" must be clearly indicated. These entries will not be considered for scholarships or awards.

Competitors must be available to perform on each day of the festival.

Note: The Directory, which contains the current general regulations, scholarship regulations, provincial scholarships and other important information concerning our festival, is available online at www.smfa.ca.

Entry deadline is February 01, 2025.
