HIPAA COW Spring 2025 Call for Presentations

HIPAA COW is now accepting presentation submissions for the 2025 Spring Conference. This event will be held virtually April 10 and 11, 2025. All submissions will be reviewed for consideration by the conference planning committee. Selected speakers will be contacted individually upon selection. Contact hipaacow@badgerbay.co for further information. Submission deadline is Feb 10, 2025.
Proposal selection is based on the following criteria:
- Originality of material
- Topic alignment with membership interest
- Timeliness of information
- Ease of implementing ideas presented
- Level of sophistication
- Specific learning objectives
- Practical application of materials
- Speaker qualifications
- A topic of general interest, not a specific product
The following is a list of presentation topics our professionals have shown interest in over the past year. Please DO NOT limit your proposal to the areas below. If you have expertise in one or more of these areas, you are encouraged to submit a proposal.

Topics may include but are not limited to:
- Upcoming legislation / recent OCR guidance (HIPAA, Part 2, federal/state law)
- State law updates
- Tracking technologies
- Artificial Intelligence
- Cyber Insurance Response
- Operational Best Practices for Implementing a BAA
