We’re pleased to share an exciting new opportunity for the natural refrigerants industry!!

The International Institute of All-Natural Refrigeration, IIAR with headquarters in USA, and the International Institute of Refrigeration, IIR with headquarters in France, are in the early planning stage to provide a global joint conference and exhibition.

The intent is to host the conference every two years in various IIR member countries with the first conference and exposition to be held in Madrid, Spain, in the fall of 2027.
This global event aims to fill a critical gap, as there is currently no other event outside the USA that combines a scientific technical conference and an exposition dedicated solely to natural refrigerant technologies, while also involving both academia and industry.

While the IIAR’s Annual Natural Refrigeration Conference & Expo held in the USA and the IIR’s renowned Gustav Lorentzen Conference on Natural Refrigerants, held biennially at various global locations, will continue to take place as separate events, this special joint conference will combine the unique strengths of both.

It will serve as a platform to connect research, academia, and industry, fostering collaboration and advancing our shared vision for natural refrigerant-based technologies.
Additionally, this conference is an opportunity to build stronger bridges globally, creating a unique platform for collaboration, innovation, and business growth.
