Terms and Conditions for the Painting Workshop
1. Definitions
1.1 "B4MBLE" refers to the registered business name of the sole trader, Jimmy Bamble (ABN 47 395 238 500), who operates this workshop and related activities.
1.2 "The Organiser" refers to B4MBLE, as operated by Jimmy Bamble.
1.3 "Participants" refers to the children attending the workshop, and "Parents/Guardians" refers to the individuals registering on their behalf.
2. Workshop Details
2.1 This workshop is free of charge and open to participants aged 10 to 18.
2.2 The workshop will be held on Saturday, 11th January 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Berry Springs Recreation Reserve.
2.3 All materials will be provided. Participants are not required to bring any items.
3. Parental Supervision
3.1 Parents or guardians are encouraged to remain on-site during the workshop, but due to space limitations, not all parents may be able to stay in the workshop area.
3.2 If a parent or guardian leaves the premises, they acknowledge that their child must be able to participate independently and follow instructions.
3.3 In the event of an emergency, the organiser will contact the parent or guardian immediately using the provided emergency contact details.
3.4 Parents are responsible for ensuring timely drop-off and pickup of their child. Children must be picked up promptly at 12:00 PM.
4. Photographic Consent
4.1 Photographs and videos may be taken during the workshop for promotional purposes.
4.2 These images may include participants (children) and attending parents or guardians.
4.3 Images may be used by B4MBLE, Berry Springs Recreation Reserve, and any affiliated organisations in promotional materials, including but not limited to social media, websites, and brochures.
4.4 Names or identifying information will not be disclosed without additional written consent.
5. Emergency and Special Needs
5.1 Parents or guardians must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or special needs their child has prior to the workshop.
5.2 Parents are responsible for ensuring that any necessary medications or emergency care plans are provided for their child.
5.3 The organiser will not be held liable for incidents arising from undisclosed medical conditions or needs.
6. Liability
6.1 The organiser will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of participants during the workshop.
6.2 The organiser is not liable for:
- Injuries, illnesses, or incidents arising from the participant’s behaviour or failure to follow instructions.
- Injuries or incidents resulting from undisclosed medical conditions.
- Situations where a parent or guardian leaves the premises without informing the organiser.
6.3 Parents or guardians accept full responsibility for their child’s actions and participation.
7. Agreement
7.1 By registering for this workshop, you confirm that:
- You are the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) attending.
- You have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including the Photographic Consent.
- You understand your responsibilities regarding supervision and emergency contact availability.
