2025 Open Studios Bursary Application

Artists aged 30 and under are invited to apply for our new bursary opportunity. 5 artists will be selected to work with established Open Studio Artists, and with our team for this year's Site Festival.
Bursary Details

The bursary will include:

- a fully funded Open Studios registration, with the value of £234.
- mentor match with an established OS Artist
- and the opportunity to use the Site Festival platform to further your art practice and visibility.

We will expect:

- each artist to proactively work with the mentor and collaborate in a way that is appropriate for you both. Our hope is that both the bursary artists and mentors will mutually benefit and learn from one another.
- each artist to use the Site Festival online platforms (social media, mailings and website) to benefit your work, as well as proactively publicising Open Studios
- approximately 10 hours of supportive work in the SVA office and beyond - for example, helping with the Site Exhibition, distribution, planning or social media.

This is where you upload the images of your artwork
We need:
- High quality images which show your work off in the best way, so we can use them for publicity
- Your images need to be named and numbered so rename your files with your surname first, and in this format : CHEN.A.1.jpg.
- Please remember to rename your images in the filenames! Otherwise it makes it very difficult to know who they belong to, and it's how mistakes are often made.
- The file sizes to be between 1MB and 10MB. The form will not accept files over 10mb each, so please take note to check.
- Either .jpg or .png files.
- Three different images of your work so that we can see a variety of the work that you produce.

If not selected for this opportunity you are still welcome to be part of SITE Festival 2025. Don't forget, if you're under 30 artists get 50% discount from the registration fees.
