    DFW Qualified Trainers: Monday @ Noon 12/10/24-Friday at 10pm 1/3/2025

  • Capacity 48 Trainers

    There will be a strict cap at 48 total Trainers. A waiting list will be formed when capacity is met. Trainers who have registered, but not submitted valid documents to enter the tournament, will be dropped on January 3, 2024.

    Collectibles Cards in Games in Carrollton, Texas, is hosting the 2nd Quartly DFW-Pokemon TCG Invitational for the Winter 2025 Season. 

    This will be an all Age Trainers tournament.
    (Seniors and Jrs tournament must have 6 trainers registered and participating the day of the tournament to be valid)

     

    To Qualify you must have:

    (1)TCG Cup Top 4 placement or (1)TCG Challenge Win(1st place).

    In Addition: The tournament must be won in Tarrant, Dallas County, or any Contiguous county.
    These counties include: Wise, Denton, Collin, Rockwall, Kaufman, Ellis, Johnson, or Parker Counties

    You will be required to show proof of this win. You will do this by logging into your Pokemon Play! account and screenshotting 2 Pages.

    1) Tournament Information: Shows location and Date. Valid tournament dates are between October 1, 2024-December 31, 2024. Winter Season 2024

    and

    2) Tournament Details: Shows your placement in the Tournament.

    Instructions on how to find these required pages are detailed on the next pages and must be submitted before completing the final payment for the Tournament. If proper documentation is not received you will not be entered into the tournament and a refund will be issued. You will be contacted via email to resubmit your registration and documents before you are dropped from the event.

    Cost:
    $30 Masters w/DFW Qualifying Cup or Challenge win(see above county requirements)
    $25 Jr and Senior DFW Qualifying Cup or Challenge win 

    Deck Lists:
    All deck lists must be handwritten and completed on the Current Official Pokemon deck list sheet or Printed using the RK9.com website.

    Deck lists not submitted by 11:45 am on the tournament day will result in a drop from the tournament and no refund will be issued.

    Deck lists will be due physically on-site on the day of the tournament. 

    Structure and Prizing

    6 rounds Swiss with 32-48 players:30 min rounds

    Top Cut 8 players Single elimination, Best of 3: 50 min rounds

    1st: $500 and Champion Mat+(1)Dice

    2nd: $250 Top 8 Mat+(1)Dice

    3rd-4th: $100+Top 8 Mat+(1)Dice 

    5th-8th: $35+Top 8 Mat+(1)Dice

    All Trainers will receive Exclusive Custom DFW-TCG Invitational (1)Dice+one(1) Pack at entry+Pack per win for Swiss rounds

  • Additional Registration and Last Chance Qualifier(LCQ)

    If the registration cap is not met by 12/27/24: Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) tournament will be held on Thurs 1/2/25, 2024, at Collectibles Cards and Games Carrollton @ 7:30pm, no deck list will be required. Rounds will depend of the number of trainers. Tournament cost will be $10 and the top 2 Competitors will be eligible to register for the tournament. Additional Registration Dec 31, 2024 @7am-January 3, 2025@10pm. Any remaining spot will be open to qualified Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Mexico Pokémon TCG trainers. These trainers must have a qualifying tournament win in any of the listed states.

      • Terms and Conditions:

        All players must have a Vaid Pokemon Play! number to enter the tournament. All players are subject to random deck checks at any time during the tournament. All Pokemon tournament rules and statutes will be in effect. Any player who breaks official Pokemon or Collectibles CG store rules may be subject to disqualification from the tournament without refund and removal or up to being banned from the store. Every trainer will be held accountable for their actions and will be held to the highest standards at this event. 

        Players have until January 1, 2025, at 11:59 pm, to drop from the tournament to receive a full refund. No refunds for late arrival or no-show will be given.

        Prize money will be allotted to the top-performing trainers in each division.

        No selling of personal cards from person to person will be allowed inside the Collectible Cards and Games Carrollton store. Trading is perfectly acceptable.
