About the program
PERFORMING ARTISTS AND PRODUCERS, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Our Performing Arts Development and Touring Program delivers dynamic theatre, music, and dance performances, as well as creative workshops to audiences around Australia each year.

Working primarily with NT based artists, producers, and companies, Artback NT is passionate about sharing the strong and unique stories of the Northern Territory and providing a lens into life experienced in this part of the world.

We are currently inviting EOI's from performing artists and producers for future productions that have a strong proof of concept and project development plan, confirmed interest from collaborators and are ready for development stages in 2025 and 2026.

EOI's are assessed by the Performing Arts Manager and an independent advisory panel group made up of staff and performing arts industry experts.

The intention of EOI's will be for Artback NT to partner with creatives to seek funding to collaborate on the creative development of new works for presentations in 2026 and beyond.

Eligible EOIs must meet the following criteria:
- The applicant is a resident of the Northern Territory and can provide proof of residency.
- The production being pitched had a clear intention and story
- The production in development represents stories unique to the diverse cultures that make up the NT
- You are able to provide evidence of development history and a strong portfolio of established work.
- The quality and viability of the project plan
In this EOI you will have opportunity to attach supporting material which should include documented work exampled of all key creativies.

NOTE: This is not a touring round and tour ready productions are not being assessed. This is not a re-mount project round, we are seeking works which have not been performed previously in their fully imagined state. Works which have had some concept showings are eligible to apply.
