Welcome! I'm Omar Shaker, MD. In a few minutes you will discover critical insights for how to overcome and reverse the impact of work-related stress on your mind and body.

I have designed this to help you leverage the best evidence-based tools I found after 10+ years of caring for patients (as a doctor, clinical data analyst, and health coach), and overcoming my own health challenges (of depression, burnout, prediabetes, and back-aches).

This score is based on the most well validated subjective and objective measures of health as published by the world's top researchers in the areas of Workplace Burnout, Self-Compassion, and Functional Medicine. However, this is not a clinical or diagnostic tool. There are no clinical norms for work-related stress. Rather, scores are mainly used in a comparative manner to examine your current emotional, mental and physical states. Your subjective score will naturally vary based on mood and life events, and your biomarkers change all the time.

Let's start with your level of Self-Compassion 1.

This is a  critical indicator for emotional wellbeing, and impacts stress,
    recovery, HRV, and habit formation.

Now let's assess your levels of work-related burnout 2.

Why we chose this? Disengagement and exhaustion can result from
work and can be frequently mislabeled as "laziness."

Research shows that occupational burnout can drive both these factors and the Oldenburg Burnout
Index is both validated and designed for a global culturally diverse audience.
