• The Website Confidence Score

See whether your website is helping or quietly holding your business back.
  • You'll need your website open on your phone and your computer. Answer honestly. The point is not to score well. It's to see what your site is actually doing for your business.

  • Part 1: The Confidence Check

Start with how your website feels to you. Don't overthink it. This is the gut check before we get into specifics.

  • 1. When someone asks for your website, do you feel proud sharing it?*
  • 2. Does your website reflect the quality of work you actually deliver to clients?*
  • 3. Can a first-time visitor figure out what you do and who you help within 5 seconds?*
  • When you read your website copy aloud, does it sound like you?*
  • Part 2: The Usability Check

Now switch from feeling to testing. Open your site on your phone and your computer, and answer based on what you actually see, not what you remember.

  • 5. On your phone: Can you tap every button easily without zooming in?*
  • 6. On your phone: Does your site fully load before you count to 3?*
  • 7. On your computer: Is all the text easy to read without squinting or highlighting?*
  • 8. On your computer: press the Tab key repeatedly on your homepage. Can you clearly see which element is selected as you tab through?*
  • 9. On your homepage: is there a clear visual flow that guides your eye through the page?*
  • Part 3: The Trust Check

Trust signals do two jobs now. They convince a human visitor you're credible, and they help AI tools like ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews, and Perplexity understand who you are well enough to recommend you when someone asks. Both audiences look for the same things: specific names, specific results, and claims that can be verified.

  • 10. Is there proof of past results, like a named testimonial, case study, or recognizable client name, visible on your services or pricing page where a visitor is deciding to reach out?*
  • 11. Do your testimonials include the client's full name, business, and at least one specific outcome, not just praise?*
  • 12. Does your About page name the principal and include at least one verifiable credential, named past client, or specific result?*
  • Almost there.
