2025 SisterSpirit Scholarship Application
Retreat Dates: April 3 - April 6, 2025

We are committed to continuing to offer financial assistance to those in need. We do not want cost to be an obstacle for participation in the retreat. If you need some additional financial help, we strongly encourage you to apply for a 2025 SisterSpirit Scholarship.

Dr. Ernest Holmes, the founder of our philosophy, said, "Life is ever giving of Itself. We must receive, utilize and extend the gift. Success and prosperity are spiritual attributes belonging to all people."

Because we value diversity, we encourage those who require financial assistance that are in the following groups to apply: Black, Indigenous or people of color, young adults (18-35), elders (65+) with limited/fixed incomes, and women who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender-fluid or gender-rich. However, anyone with financial need is encouraged to apply.

How to apply for a SisterSpirit Scholarship

Scholarship funds are budgeted on a per retreat basis. This means that funding is limited per retreat. We recommend candidates apply as early as possible to improve your chances of receiving a scholarship

APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 8, 2025
SCHOLARSHIP NOTIFICATION: No later March 29, 2025

Complete the scholarship application form
Explain your financial need
Indicate why you are called to attend SisterSpirit
Suggest what skills/abilities you can contribute to the retreat (E.g. assisting with technology, yoga instructor, craft assistant, offer a workshop, etc.)
Submit an affirmative prayer claiming your financial abundance (an example is provided in the application).
Complete the online registration form at 2025 SisterSpirit Registration Form or find it at www.sisterspiritretreat.org and include the deposit payment of $200 when you register. Scholarship applications will not be considered without the completion of the scholarship application AND the registration form with $200 payment. Should SisterSpirit be unable to award a scholarship to you, you will receive a refund of your deposit.

Selection Process

Scholarships given are up to $300. Currently, there is $1800 currently in our fund which would allow for 6 women to received scholarships.

Scholarship applications will be accepted up to March March 8, 2025. Once your application has been reviewed, you will be apprised of the status of your application by phone and/or email no later than March 29th. First time applicants receive priority.

In addition to submitting your scholarship application, you must complete the registration form available at www.sisterspiritretreat.org and pay the deposit amount of $200. If we are unable to award you a scholarship, your deposit will be returned to you. In all other instances the deposit is subject to our cancellation/refund policy.

Submit this scholarship application and your registration form with $200 by March 8th, 2024. Scholarship applications without a completed registration form and payment will not be considered.
