DC School Connect program is the alternative transportation arm of the Safe Passage initiative. We appreciate your trust in allowing us to safely transport your child(ren) to and from their schools.

The Office of the State Superintendent of Education Division of Student Transportation (OSSE DOT) is the District’s agency that transports students that are eligible for transportation as a related service. DC School Connect is unable to transport students that are eligible for OSSE DOT transportation services.

Policy: Students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade, must have a parent/guardian or a designated adult meet the vehicle at the PM micro stop location. When authorized by the parent/guardian siblings' grade 4 and higher can escort younger siblings' home. Any student in grade 4 or higher is permitted to walk home from the micro stop. It is up to the parent/guardian to decide whether it is appropriate for their child as a product of their age, maturity, and conditions along their route.*
