The focus of this group is the development and effective implementation of GFSI Benchmarking requirements(BMR), under the purview of the GFSI Technical Sub Committee, at a global level.
Members Candidacy and Appointment Process - key aspects
In line with GFSI Governance Rules, CGF/GFSI member companies are given priority when applying for GFSI Working Groups.
- Applicants must represent either 'Food Retailer' or 'Food Manufacturer' sectors and represent their organisation only.
- Applicants must be an active member of the organisation they represent
- Applicants must also understand- international standards, including ISO, Food Safety certifications, Accreditation. For example, the IAF and IAF MLA regulations, GFSI Governance rules and ways of working
- Applicants must commit to the behaviour and code of conduct stated in the GFSI Governance rules and be committed to the effective delivery of the working group mandate
