Franchise Ownership Models:
Owner-Operator (Non-Absentee)
- Description: Owner runs the day-to-day operations; typically no staff.
- Time Commitment: Full-time.
Owner-Manager (Non-Absentee with transition to Semi-Absentee)
- Description: Responsible for managing the daily operations of the business. Over time, owner hires a manager and this will allow them to back their way out of the business and become a Semi-Absentee owner.
- Time Commitment: Inititially, full-time involvement with transition to part-time, when business is in stride. 1-2 years of Full-time commitment.
Executive Owner (Semi-Absentee)
- Description: Perfect for employed executives and/or entrepreneurs with other business ownership interests. Often utilized as a diversification strategy for an investment portfolio by including business ownership as a revenue stream and as a method for asset accumulation.
- Time Commitment: Average 15 hours a week. Presence on premises not required for "brick and mortar" models.
