  • About the event: this is a FREE workshop for youth, on Saturday, March 14, 2026 10am–2pm. We'll join together to explore how AI intersects with climate, culture and mental health. The workshop will cover topics such as how culture has been transformed by AI, what impact its expansion has on environment, and what it looks like to maintain mental wellbeing and a sense of humanity in the face of widespread artificial intelligence. Climate Action Families' trainings aim to empower youth to contribute their valuable voices, connect with affirming adults who are taking climate action too, and chart a way forward with hope for the future.

    This interactive training presents:

    • educational demonstrations to firm up concepts that youth may be struggling to understand about AI
    • peer-facing games and activities to bring these concepts to life
    • resources from youth psychologists to address climate anxiety related to AI and to affirm the value of youth individuality amid confusing messages about humans being replaced
    • opportunities for artistic expression to practice rooting ourselves in human creativity
    • youth-led dialogue to encourage leadership skills
    • and so much more!

Accessibility and Inclusion: Our priority is inclusivity, ensuring everyone interested can join us in this vital effort. This training is FREE, lunch is included, and the building is ADA-accessible.
