Every one of my guitars is a one-off, hand made instrument often featuring unusual items. I am also a small operation, so I'll get your new instrument in your hands as quickly as I can. Taking demand into consideration, please allow up to 30 days for the completion of your order. The price of your custom guitar will be displayed below. I require a flat $50 deposit to place your custom order. The remaining balance is due when you pick up your order. Any completed orders not payed in full within 60 days of completion will forfeit their deposit.

I offer my guitars with many options. You can choose from acoustic, electric, or both. You can choose the style of box, the number of strings, tuning, neck design and other options. Please make your selections below.
Do you have a preference on the color, brand, size or style of cigar box? Please understand I will do my best to meet this request but my box inventory fluctuates and I may not have a particular box.
My 4 string instruments are typically tuned E-G-B-E. I tune my 3 string instruments E-B-E. And 1 and 2 string instrument tuning varies. There are other tuning options depending on your preference. Would you like a particular tuning on your guitar?
Neck Scale Length
I build my guitars using everyday things like nuts and bolts, hinges, spoons, and other odd items. I can also utilize manufactured parts like bridges, controls, tuner keys, etc. Which direction would you like to go?

Backwoods Boogie Boxes are fretless instruments meant to be played using a slide. If you would like to add a fret board to your guitar please select that option below.

Instruments with wooden necks may bow under string tension over time. To combat this metal truss rods are used. These are not adjustable. It isn't likely necessary for instruments that are fretless with few strings but you can add one to your guitar for additional strength below.
