FAI 2025 Private Showcase Confirmation

This is a short form to track confirmation for the MusicNL East Coast Style (in partnership with Music · Musique NB, Music NS and Music PEI) private showcase room at FAI 2025.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR STAGE TIME AND TECH REQUIREMENTS
Because of the nature of hotel room showcases, our need to keep maximum performance time/minimal changeover time, and the rules of Folk Alliance, all showcases must have a low acoustic footprint. Percussion must be low key (snare with brushes, NO KICK DRUMS), and any amps must only be used to bring an instrument up to ambient volume level. We provide a PA, vocal mics, as well as a professional sound tech. We will also have a basic guitar amp to facilitate turnovers. We will not have DIs or monitors. There will be a small green room adjacent to the performance area. The showcase room itself is about 260 sq ft (see photo below) so THIS IS NOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE A BIG SOUND OR LARGE BAND. Please keep gear simple.
