Permission for Medical Treatment and Waiver of liability for the 2025 Camp Ridgecrest Event occurring August 4, 2025 - August 8, 2025 in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
My permission is granted for Camp Ridgecrest employees or The Camp Director, Church Officials, Camp Staff, or Camp Nurse or adult present to obtain necessary medical attention in case of sickness or injury to my child. I understand that Pritchard Church and any attending Camp Director, Church Officials, Camp Staff or Camper assume no responsibility for injuries, illness, death, loss or damage which my child may sustain as a result of his/her participation in these activities. I expressly acknowledge that I assume the risk for any and all injuries and all illnesses which may result from his/her participation in these activities. Additionally, I, the undersigned, do hereby verify that the information listed is correct and I do hereby voluntarily release and forever discharge Camp Ridgecrest employees, Pritchard Church, The Camp Director, Church Officials, Camp Staff and Campers from any and all claims, demands, damages, injuries, costs, suits, actions or causes of action, past, or future arising out of any damage or injury while employed by or participating in this Camp or event. I, the undersigned parent/guardian of this child, grant permission to any doctor, nurse, medical technician, or institution to render to my child any necessary medical treatment required in the event of a medical emergency including hospitalization for my child. I understand that no accident or medical insurance is provided with this activity. I, the undersigned, do hereby verify that the medications given to the Camp Nurse have been prescribed by my child’s doctor and assume all responsibility for these medications. Additionally, I authorize the Camp Nurse to give my child these medications. I give my consent for my child to leave the Pritchard Church Campus, participate in this authorized trip and to ride in authorized vehicles for the purpose of transportation to and from Camp Ridgecrest, Black Mountain, NC. Also, I understand that as a participant, my child may be photographed or videotaped during normal camp or event activities. I give permission to Pritchard Church without limitation or obligation to use photographs, film footage, or tape recordings which may include my child’s image or voice for any purposes and release The Camp Director, any Camp Staff, or Church Officials, from any claim of liability to that use. Lakefront Swimming & Activities

There is no longer an option for varied swimmer abilities and there will be no swim test. All swimmers will wear a life vest.

Camper Covenant & Code of Conduct

The following are the expectations required of all campers attending Camp Ridgecrest with Pritchard Church. Please review and digitally sign the Camper Covenant & Code of Conduct. Camper Expectations: Be respectful during Bible study and worship experiences. Be respectful of fellow campers and counselors. Participate in all scheduled camp and cabin activities on time. Participate in waterfront activities only during designated times with supervision. Do not tamper with other people’s belongings. Do not tamper with camp property or facilities. Any damage will be paid for by the camper or the camper’s family. All medications must be cleared through the Camp Nurses on Monday before leaving for camp. No fireworks or pranks of any kind. Any activity outside of the normal camp area must be accompanied by a counselor and must be done with the full knowledge and permission of the Camp Director. Help keep camp property, facilities, and cabins clean by throwing away trash in appropriate bins. Obey curfew and no sneaking out. A zero tolerance policy is in effect for weapons, fighting, alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco products, and sexual harassment. Dress Code: All clothes at camp must be modest and not violate the following restrictions. Any camper outside of the dress code will be asked to change immediately. No two-piece bathing suits for girls or Speedos for boys. Underwear should not be visible in public or at the waterfront. No clothing promoting violence, hate, prejudice, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, gangs, nudity, profanity, or pornographic images or references. No excessively short mini-skirts or shorts. No shirts or tank tops that overtly emphasize cleavage or midriff. No cut off shirts. Flip flops are only allowed at the waterfront. Tennis shoes must be worn on Monday morning before boarding the bus. Electronics Policy: Electronic Device is a cell phone, iPod, iPad, Switch, or any other handheld game. All campers are encouraged to leave electronic devices at home. 3rd - 5th grade campers are not permitted to have any electronic device unless its for medical/health reasons, and prescreened by the Camp Director/Camp Nurse. Middle School/High School campers are allowed to have electronic devices for cabin use only. No electronic devices should be brought outside of cabins unless its for health/medical reasons and prescreened by the Camp Director/Camp Nurse. Phones will be made available for any camper who needs to contact a family member, parent, or guardian. If a camper violates the electronic policy, the device will be confiscated and returned to the camper during pickup on Friday, 8/11/2024. Campers bring electronic devices at their own risk. There is no Wi-Fi at camp unless needed for medical reasons be aware of your specific data plans/rates.
Camper Covenant Agreement

Payment Information

Please choose which option of payment works for your family. Scholarships are available by request and are awarded based on availability and financial need. If requesting a scholarship, we ask that you email Susie Crowell (susieqcrowell@gmail.com) a statement of why your financial situation necessitates scholarship funding for your camper to attend Camp Ridgecrest.
