  • Terms and Conditions for Glasgow TBID Event/Project Grant
    1. Grant Purpose and Usage
    The grant funds awarded by Glasgow Tourism Improvement Business District (Glasgow TBID) must be used solely for the purposes outlined in the grant application submitted by the Grantee. Any deviation from the approved project scope must receive prior written approval from Glasgow TBID.

    2. Funding Disbursement
    Grant funds will only be disbursed upon the successful completion of the following requirements:

    Submission of Final Grant Report: The Grantee must submit a detailed final report outlining the event or project outcomes, including financial expenditure reports, attendance figures (if applicable), and any other metrics agreed upon with Glasgow TBID. This report must be submitted within 30 days following the completion of the event or project.


    Documentation of Glasgow TBID Credit: The Grantee must provide proof that Glasgow TBID was credited in all event/project advertising and promotional materials as specified in Section 3.


    The final payment of grant funds will only be made after the satisfactory review of the final report by Glasgow TBID.

    3. Acknowledgment of Glasgow TBID
    Event and Project Promotion: The Grantee is required to acknowledge Glasgow TBID’s support in any and all advertising, marketing materials, press releases, and social media posts related to the event or project. The following wording should be used: “This event/project is made possible in part by a grant from Glasgow Tourism Improvement Business District (Glasgow TBID).”


    Logo Usage: The official Glasgow TBID logo must be included in all digital and print promotional materials. The logo file will be provided by Glasgow TBID and may not be altered in any way.


    4. Compliance with Local, State, and Federal Regulations
    The Grantee agrees to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations in connection with the planning and execution of the event or project. Failure to comply with such regulations may result in the immediate termination of the grant and the forfeiture of any unpaid funds.

    5. Insurance and Liability
    The Grantee is responsible for obtaining all necessary insurance coverage, permits, and licenses for the event or project. Glasgow TBID will not be held liable for any damage, injury, or legal claims arising from the Grantee’s event or project.
    A certificate of insurance may be requested by Glasgow TBID as part of the grant application process.


    6. Grant Reporting Requirements
    Interim Reports: For projects extending beyond a single event date, interim progress reports may be required at Glasgow TBID's discretion. The Grantee will be notified in advance of any such reporting requirements.
    Final Report: As mentioned in Section 2, a final grant report is mandatory. The report should include a summary of the event/project, detailed financial accounting, attendance statistics, and an evaluation of the overall impact or success of the project. Failure to submit the final report within the specified timeframe will result in the withholding of grant funds.


    7. Audit Rights
    Glasgow TBID reserves the right to audit the financial records associated with the event or project at any time within three (3) years of the disbursement of grant funds. The Grantee must maintain accurate financial records for the duration of this period.

    8. Termination
    Glasgow TBID reserves the right to terminate the grant at any point if the Grantee fails to comply with the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. In the event of termination, any unpaid grant funds will be forfeited, and the Grantee may be required to repay previously disbursed funds.

    9. Amendments
    Any amendments to these Terms and Conditions must be agreed upon in writing by both Glasgow TBID and the Grantee.


    By accepting grant funding from Glasgow TBID, the Grantee agrees to abide by all terms and conditions listed above. Failure to comply may result in the termination of grant funds.
