PROGRAM SUMMARY:
NCDA&CS is seeking Agriculture Intern candidates to placed at a local research station or within other program areas within the department. The purpose of this program is to prepare the next generation of professionals to work in agriculture. This 10-week paid internship program will allow students to gain real world experience and knowledge in their field of study. This session begins May 12th and ends July 18th.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at any North Carolina university, college, or community college across the state.
PREFERANCES:
- Must be passionate about local food systems (e.g. food, agriculture, health), hard-working, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude.
- Ability to take direction, show initiative, and work well in a team as well as independently
- Must be flexible and open to working with multiple mentors.
