Position: Project Assistant
Type: Part-time
Location: In-person based in Milton with potential for increased hours over time
Address: 330 Bronte St. S Unit 201, Milton, Ontario
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the execution of our Capacity-Building Project, ensuring timely progress on deliverables
- Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing projects
- Collaborate and network with local organizations to build and strengthen community partnerships
- Develop and distribute newsletters to keep stakeholders informed
- Take minutes during office meetings and maintain organized project documentation
- Utilize tools such as Google Workspace, Jotform, Canva, and JaneApp for project-related tasks
- Provide proactive administrative support to ensure the project runs smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Social Media Savvy: Skilled in managing accounts
- Technical Competence: Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Jotform, Canva, and JaneApp (We will also provide training on some of these tools)
- Event Planning Expertise: Proven ability to coordinate meetings and events
- Exceptional Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and organized approach
- Mission Alignment: A shared commitment to Maternal Minds' vision of empowering Muslim mothers
